CICAP: Technology centre

CICAP, located in Pozoblanco, Córdoba, is undoubtedly one of the most advanced Technological Centres for Agri-Food Innovation and Research in the world. And this is what had to be conveyed when they wished to modify their interior façade. 

With this in mind, our E-100 structural curtain wall was used, with overlapping and raised boltels, and tilt-and-turn iron fittings weighing 110kg per leaf. Its architect, Alfredo Pita-Romero Martínez, perfectly defined the technological concept through this modern façade. 

The choice of the Extrual system can largely be put down to its ease of manufacture and installation due to the absence of profile machining, its 20mm closed gap, the possibility of projecting, casement and exterior openings, and the complete integration of the E-90 door system to create a seamless whole for the façade.

For its exterior façade, built from porcelain, we used the E-36 window system, one of our most iconic and stable products over time thanks to its excellent performance.
